DALLAS, TX—Noting that it’s not really his place to say anything and that he doesn’t want to start any trouble, local man decided to stay out of any discussions surrounding the Baltimore riots right after a quick Facebook post about the riots. “I know that I probably shouldn’t say anything, especially because I’m not from Baltimore, nor do I know anything about the issues the Baltimore people have been dealing with,” started Kevin Williams, a white 32-year-old, in just a super short status update on Facebook about the upheaval in Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray. “And maybe I’m not the best person to be voicing his opinion, and I don’t want this to turn into a whole thing. I understand the rioters’ motives, but maybe this isn’t the best way to go about it. That’s it. That’s all I wanted to say. Hopefully, we can move on. ” At press time, Mr. Williams just had to respond to one commenter on his post.
