AKRON, OH—According to an interview, area woman Sheryl Winters is getting to that age where her Facebook feed is full of funeral announcements. “Every single time I open my Facebook, I swear to God there’s another notice for a funeral or memorial service plastered all over my feed,” said Ms. Winters to reporters yesterday. Ms. Winters added that just this month alone she’s seen about four or five posts providing information about a wake for one of her Facebook friends who has recently died. Allegedly, the posts remain at the top of Ms. Winters’ feed due to all the “Likes” and comments from grieving family members and friends expressing their love for the newly deceased. “I mean, I get it. I’m in my 80s, so I know it’s just that time for these types of events, but I would rather not be reminded everyday that my friends are off dying and I haven’t yet.” In related news, area boy Eric Jones is getting to that age where all of his friends’ parents are getting divorced.

I think she needs younger friends.
Reblogged this on galesmind and commented:
The aging of Facebook she really needs to make younger friends I think. I have them all ages. You don’t have to announce your age unless you want to. Between your ears you can be 20 if you like.
I wonder if people “like” the fb statuses about funerals and such hahaha. Does liking express your desire for that person to be dead or show remorse for that person?
I would hope they’re sympathy likes 😉 Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for more!
I would wager that not all the likes are sympathy likes. 🙂
