Rangers Force Kings To Game 5 Stanley Cup Win

NEW YORK, NY—Winning game four of the Stanley Cup finals by a score of 2-1 last night at Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers have forced the Los Angeles Kings to a game five Stanley Cup win. “It was a very tough game but we came out on top,” said Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault, who praised his team’s resilience in holding the Kings to only one goal, thereby forcing the Kings to win the Stanley Cup this coming Friday night. Henrik Lundqvist, the Rangers goalie, had 40 saves against the Kings, keeping his team in the hunt for one more match-up of this five game series. Benoit Pouliot and Martin St. Louis scored each of the Rangers’ two goals, sending the Kings back to Los Angeles home ice to win their second Stanley Cup in three years. “We definitely gained some momentum going into Friday night’s [loss].” In related news, Rangers fans are very much looking forward to their game six ticket refunds.
